The Friends of Ombersley School
Give as you live is an online shopping portal. When you buy goods or gifts online with Give as you Live installed, the retailers you buy from will donate a percentage of your spending to the school. At no extra cost to you.
Please click the link to join and use it when you shop online. It works a bit like Quidco with lots of the popular retailers involved like Amazon, Play, John Lewis, Argos etc.
Thank you to everyone who came to the AGM on Tuesday 1st November 2022.

Thank you for all the support during the last year. We are pleased to confirm we raised just under £3,700, which the School really appreciate and passed on their thanks.
The Friends play an active role in school life. We organise regular social and fund-raising activities and events for both the children and adults. We hold regular meetings which you are welcome to attend, and everyone’s contributions and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Events have included quizzes, coffee mornings, bake sales, an Easter egg hunt, children’s disco, bingo and a whole host of other events to build a strong community and fundraise night. We have plenty of things planned for the coming months too, so watch this space!
In recent years the money raised by The Friends has been used to subsidise school trips and purchase play equipment, listening stations and tarpaulins for our Forest School, IPads, Robotics equipment and other classroom resources. This year we will again be subsidising all trips for all children throughout the year, as well as continuing to support the class teachers with essential resources.
All parents are welcome at the Friends meetings, so come and support your local school and children. Your help is always welcomed to run an event or behind the scenes prep even if you do not feel able to become a committee member.
