More and Most Able pupils
Children are identified following termly assessments and a register of more able pupils is held and updated as needed.
Provision for More and Most Able pupils is through differentiated activities that are more open ended or problem solving based activities. We also offer opportunities at workshops with other schools to challenge our More Able learners.
Approximately 10% of a class could be identified as More Able and this is subject to change dependent on the performance of the class. It is likely that children will move on and off the register at different points throughout their school life.
